Life & Community
We are committed to creating a community within the school and to reaching out to the community beyond our walls. TTSP’s philosophy is based on more than excellent academics; we also prepare our students to be responsible community members. Our goal is to help make the world a better place, to do tikkun olam (Repair of the World). We go beyond the Jewish community in achieving that goal and our students can be seen at STEP –St. Louis Park Emergency Program- helping at their food shelf and at the Wellington, a senior citizen apartment complex, creating relationships with people of all backgrounds. Perhaps the greatest sense of pride we feel is when our students decide, on their own, to take up a cause. Small groups have raised money from the entire student body for causes such as tsunami relief, Darfur and our very own United Jewish Fund and Council.
