Echad/אחד is the capstone of the Sh’ma. Judaism has survived, and Jews have died, for the oneness of God. Our course will use classical and modern texts to explore what onesness means, and why oneness is considered essential in our tradition and lives. There will be surprises and unexpected perspectives that emerge from our shared learnings as we explore the birth and consequences of oneness.
