Dates: 5-part series, March 4, 11, 18, 25, April 1

Teacher: Rabbi David Thomas

Location: St. Paul JCC (note updated location)

Rabbi Thomas has collected dozens of wonderfully subversive, multi-vocal folktales from the Talmud. These tales cover a wide range of universal human questions which the rabbis felt safest embedding in stories, rather than in halachic (legal) discourse. Texts are in English and Hebrew and the teaching is interactive and discussion based. Topics include: Free-will vs. Predetermination, Miracles: Can’t live with ‘em, Can’t live without ‘em, Confronting mortality, and more.

Cost: $72 for the series
