Through an exploration of mindfulness practices, Jewish texts, group conversation, and Mussar practices, you will explore specific soul traits like humility and kindness and consider ways to expand their presence in your life.

Mindfulness is bringing loving attention moment by moment to what is, with the intention of causing less suffering to ourselves and the world. Mussar is a traditional Jewish spiritual pathway of contemplative practices, exercises and text study focused on developing specific Middot/soul-traits. Together they provide a rich pathway to personal transformation and deepen our connections with ourselves, our communities and with God.

This va’ad (community of practice) is appropriate to those with and without prior Mussar experience.

Cost: $360; $280 for Hineni supporters and members of Beth Jacob and Mount Zion
