Teaching with neuroscience in mind!
The neuro-sequential model of teaching and learning can help us understand the necessary elements to enable students to learn.
In this workshop, teachers and parents will learn about brain states that enhance or inhibit learning, as well as the causes of student behavioral concerns, and how these may impact a student’s academic functioning. Participants will also develop concrete strategies to get the most from their students.
Educators and parents with students of all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend. Best suited for elementary-aged children, grades K-5.
